DESCRIPTION:Come out for a scary good time on Thursday, October 9! Downtown businesses will be open late and hosting snacks and sips between 6:00 – 8:00pm.\nThis event is geared towards adults, but all are welcome and costumes are encouraged.  If you are looking for a trick or treating opportunity for kids, join us for Downtown Trick or Treat on October 30 ( https://downtownames.org/upcoming-events/downtown-trick-or-treat-2025/ )!\nWitches Walk will also feature a Costume Contest this year! Make sure to be at Della Viti by 6:45pm to enter the contest. Winners will be decided at 7:00pm by who can get the loudest cheer from the crowd!\n \nDowntown Ames businesses – please email Travis ( mailto:travis@amesalliance.com ) for the link to sign up if you do not see your business listed below.\n.\nActivities \nFREE Giveaway – The first 300 Witches Walk attendees can pick up a free wine tumbler at Tom Evans Park located at 340 Main St. while supplies last. These will run out early!\nPhoto Stations – Grab a photo with your coven to remember this fun night out. Several can be found on the handout you’ll receive at Witches Walk!\nWitches Bingo – (Pickup Bingo Sheet at Witches Walk) – Complete any 5 activities in a row to form a “BINGO” to be entered to win a gift basket with Downtown Ames Businesses.\nCostume contest – Do you have the witchiest or spookiest costume?
