Death Cafe is a discussion group as opposed to grief support or counselling session. This Death Cafe is hosted but not sponsored by Dog-Eared Books. The Death Cafe organization is considered a “social franchise,” meaning that it is a group with open access guidelines for how to run a Death Cafe.
